Nursery Practitioner

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Level 3 qualified Nursery Practitioner to join our team. as a bank worker to cover training, holidays, sick leave etc.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience working with children in a nursery setting. This role requires effective communication skills and a commitment to providing high-quality care and education to young children.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children aged 0-5 years.
• Plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to support children\’s emotional and social development.
• Maintain accurate records of children\’s development and communicate effectively with parents regarding their child\’s progress.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and safeguarding policies at all times.
• Support the management team in leading the nursery staff and contributing to the overall success of the nursery.

Requirements

• Must have knowledge of Safeguarding, Health & Safety.
• Relevant qualifications in early childhood education or childcare (e.g., Level 3 or above).
• Previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting is essential.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• A genuine passion for working with children and understanding their developmental needs.

Pay: £12.21 per hour
