Inspired by Maslow’s hierarchy of needs, our spaces support both professional ambition and personal fulfilment, bringing together private offices, shared workspaces, wellbeing studios, dining, and a vibrant programme of cultural events. Our members are founders, investors, consultants, creatives, and leaders who value environments that elevate both their work and their lives. They choose Maslow’s because it offers more than a workspace — it offers belonging, productivity, and a setting where ambition and wellbeing coexist.

The Role

The Head of Membership Sales is responsible for driving the growth of Maslow’s membership community through proactive business development, strategic partnerships and sales leadership. This role combines outbound business development, broker and partner development, and sales team leadership. The successful candidate will identify where our ideal members spend their time — from industry events to professional networks — and build a real world and or digital presence for Maslow’s within those communities. You will also oversee a team of Membership Sales Managers responsible for converting inbound enquiries, while personally leading negotiations on larger office and study memberships.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Strong business development and networking ability
  • A track record of hitting sales targets through proactive outreach and creative lead generation
  • Experience building broker or referral partner relationships
  • Confidence leading commercial negotiations and closing larger deals
  • Experience in membership, hospitality, property, coworking, or premium service environments
  • Experience leading and developing sales teams
  • Strong commercial judgement and analytical thinking
  • Alignment with Maslow’s values of care, curiosity, and commitment

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Business Development & Community Prospecting
    • Identify and build relationships within networks where Maslow’s ideal members gather, including industry events, professional communities, and relevant business groups.
    • Represent Maslow’s at events, panels, and networking opportunities to generate high-quality membership leads.
    • Maintain a strong network across London’s entrepreneurial, investment, advisory, tech and creative communities.
    • Attend or host a minimum of two networking or industry events per week to develop new relationships and generate membership opportunities to include Maslow’s hosting curated membership lead events within Maslow’s houses, introducing prospective members to the spaces, community, and experience that define Maslow’s.
    • Develop creative initiatives and partnerships that generate new membership opportunities, ensuring monthly sales targets are consistently achieved.
  • Broker & Channel Development
    • Develop and manage relationships with commercial property brokers, workplace advisors, and relocation specialists who can introduce prospective member companies.
    • Ensure 3rd party distribution platforms like Valve are regularly updated with study availability.
    • Build a structured broker channel to drive larger office and study memberships through trusted intermediaries.
    • Ensure brokers have a clear understanding of Maslow’s offer, pricing structure, and positioning.
    • Cultivate priority broker relationships with regular engagement with brokers through updates, tours, lunches and events to strengthen referral flow.
  • Study Sales & Contract Negotiation
    • Lead the sales process for larger study and private office memberships, from initial engagement through to signed agreement.
    • Support study annual or ad hoc renegotiations as required.
    • Lead contract negotiations, ensuring terms align with Maslow’s commercial objectives while maintaining a thoughtful and professional member experience.
    • Work closely with operations and finance to ensure contracts are structured effectively and executed smoothly.
  • Sales Leadership
    • Lead and support two Membership Sales Managers responsible for managing inbound enquiries and closing membership sales across house; resident and study sales.
    • Establish clear sales processes, targets, and performance expectations.
    • Coach the team to ensure every interaction reflects Maslow’s tone of voice and hospitality ethos.
    • Improve conversion rates from lead to signed deal through optimisations in the funnel.
  • Sales Reporting & Stakeholder Communication
    • Produce clear and consistent sales reporting for senior leadership and stakeholders using Hubspot dashboards.
    • Track performance across lead sources, conversion rates, membership mix, and revenue.
    • Provide insights that inform marketing, partnerships, and membership strategy.
