Mortimer Environmental are recruiting for the 2026 survey season. We have a number of flexible roles available, ranging from seasonal ecologists, graduate and consultant ecologists. We would also welcome applications from those at more senior levels. Both full time and part time positions are available, including 12-hour a week contracts for assistant bat surveyors, which would ideally suit those looking to get experience in ecological consultancy, or who need part time work to fit around existing commitments. You will need a full UK driving licence and access to a car.

Salary:

Starting salaries: £26 – 28k for seasonal and graduate ecologists (pro rata), £29 - £45k for consultant / senior ecologists.
