Do you have the creativity, enthusiasm and an interest in the progression of young people? Morthyng Group is a registered charity and voluntary sector training provider and a 'not for profit' organisation that has supported the training of young people and adults. We are looking for a Sports Tutor to join them, who will be based at Rugby Borough Football Academy.

We are seeking an experienced Tutor to work with young people aged 16 – 19 on our study programme at Rugby Town Football Academy, predominantly at level 2 and 3, delivering accredited BTEC Sports qualifications. This is an opportunity to use your skills and experience to work with young people facing some of the greatest challenges. You will have the ability to motivate, engage, and use innovative teaching resources and have experience in delivering Pearsons BTEC Qualifications.

What you need:

  • Ability to deliver Sports qualifications
  • Good presentation, organisational, planning and time management skills
  • Strong command of subject matter with recent experience in occupational area
  • Vocational qualification at level 2/3 or proven experience in Sport
  • High level of written and oral communication skills
  • Creativity, enthusiasm and interest in the subject
  • Flexibility, adaptability and a willingness to embrace change
  • Professional presentation with an ability to liaise with internal and external contacts at all levels
