This is an office based key customer facing role within our Mortgage team and as such it involves a varied set of activities, which include:
- Keying Mortgage applications into the Banks systems (checking income, personal details, credit commitments etc.)
- Gathering and checking documents/information from clients as required by the lenders during the underwriting process
- Providing administrative support to the brokers
- Managing the client service experience through to completion – speaking with clients, lenders and solicitors
- Recording all conversations and actions taken to keep a clear audit trail
- Assisting the brokers with completing rate checks on a regular basis and updating clients/securing new offers
- Ensuring all work meets the Networks and FCA compliance standards
- Assisting the Team with any other duties, as reasonably requested including Insurances
- Adapting duties to meet the changing requirements of the business.
Be able to prioritise workload and perform under pressure. Be able to work as part of a team, while also focusing on their own individual workload. Be customer centric, placing the customer experience at the every action taken. Be good at managing change. Have a strong administration background. Previous mortgage/property experience is a bonus but not necessary.
Staff Training & Reviews: Training will primarily take place ‘on the job’. Reviews will be undertaken as required with all staff to discuss the following areas:
- Quality / Accuracy of Work
- Client Feedback
- Provider / Other Feedback (where applicable)
