  • To be seen as the ‘subject matter expert’ and ‘go to person’ for all protection and GI activity.
  • Through pro-active account management, manage all day-to-day partnerships with insurance providers and GI insurer partners for the network and mortgage club.
  • Through product and industry knowledge, to manage product governance for all new insurance product changes (protection & GI) ensuring required profile and awareness withing the network.
  • Objectives
  • To maximise awareness and profile within the network and club of protection and GI insurance products, through pro-active day to day account management with our partners.
  • To demonstrate and provide confirmation that the new 2025 protection panel has been embedded ensuring on-going awareness and profile within network and club.

An annual review to be conducted to ensure proposition remains appropriate.

  • Pro-actively manage product governance process for on-boarding of new insurance products (protection and GI).

Key Responsibilities to include

  • Pro-active day to day account management of protection providers and GI insurers.
  • Working with key network and club stakeholders to act as the business lead for GI review ensuring new proposition is embedded and then reviewed annually to ensure remains appropriate.
  • Working with Head of Products & Partnerships, wider management team and insurance providers ensure the new 2025 protection panel is embedded and then reviewed annual to ensure remains appropriate.
  • Through product and wider industry knowledge to manage product governance for all new insurance product changes (protection & GI) ensuring required profile and awareness within the network.
  • Working with key stakeholders to act as the business lead for a review of business protection proposition generating a recommendation, embedding any changes and reviewing annually to ensure proposition remains appropiate.
  • Working with the Product Trend & Business Analyst, provide business facing MI/data reports as required by the business.
  • Look to maximise marketing/comms opportunities and securing appropriate funding for the MI Rate Card (network & club), engaging the marketing team(s) as appropriate.
  • Thorough engagement with the sales team, broker support, BAM team, etc. where training and educational needs identified facilitate required training activity for network AR’s, to be delivered by protection providers and GI insurers.
  • Attendance at business quality meetings led by Head of Compliance and act as business lead for any resulting actions/feedback with other business areas.
  • Involvement at appropriate industry events, forums, etc. as directed by Head of Products & Partnerships.
  • Contribute towards the networks ongoing consumer duty obligations, considering these in all actions and decisions that are taken.
  • Carry out ad hoc tasks as required by the business.
  • Personal Requirements for role
  • Ce MAP qualification or equivalent
  • Knowledge of financial services/regulated mortgage and protection market
  • Knowledge of the protection, GI and mortgage market
  • Ability to work under pressure
