At Mortgage Advice Bureau (Treorchy), we are looking for an experienced mortgage manager to join our small but dynamic team. Mortgage Advice Bureau (Treorchy) is an independent business, with over 22 years of experience providing mortgage advice to clients across the UK.
As a Mortgage Manager, you will be processing new applications for Residential & Buy to Let mortgages against the appropriate policies in preparation for lenders to complete their underwriting processes. You will have a keen understanding of compliance processes, which are to be observed & monitored at all times. You will undertake a range of administration tasks and maintain consistency across the core systems.
The Mortgage Manager will build and maintain relationships and deal effectively with enquiries from customers, lenders, and third parties.
As a Mortgage Manager you will need:
- Excellent ICT skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Confidence and the ability to build positive working relationships
- Great organisational and communication skills
- A keen eye for detail and the ability to prioritise your own workload
- The drive and passion to learn within the role
- Experience within the financial industry is desirable
- This role may suit a former mortgage broker or mortgage administrator
