Permanent, Full-time Hybrid between our Derby office and working from home. Up to £30,000 plus benefits.

About the role

We’re looking for a Sustainability Analyst to support the delivery of our sustainability strategy and reporting agenda. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to meaningful, high-impact work across governance, disclosure and performance tracking. Working closely with our Group Head of Sustainability and collaborating across Finance, Risk and Investor Relations, you’ll provide analytical, reporting and coordination support that underpins high‑quality, credible sustainability disclosures. You'll be a key part of establishing a robust sustainability data governance model, implementing data controls and building strong working relationships with our subsidiary businesses to collate accurate data. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, is passionate about building their career in sustainability, governance and reporting with a growing listed organisation.

What you’ll be doing

  • Supporting the coordination of sustainability data and reporting activities across business areas
  • Maintaining datasets, audit trails, reporting timelines and documentation for governance and disclosure purposes
  • Assisting in preparing sustainability reports, disclosures and internal updates
  • Tracking sustainability KPIs, actions and performance against objectives
  • Coordinating ESG data submissions and supporting responses to external stakeholders and rating agencies
  • Supporting the integration of sustainability processes within wider governance, risk and finance frameworks
  • Conducting research into sustainability trends, regulation and market best practice
  • Supporting analysis across climate risk and ESG frameworks
  • Preparing presentations, briefing materials and internal communications
  • Contributing to continuous improvement of sustainability reporting and operational processes

About You

You are detail-focused, organised and analytically minded, with a strong interest in sustainability and reporting. You’re comfortable working with data, establishing processes and show confidence engaging with stakeholders across the business. You will have:

  • Experience working with data, reporting, project coordination or process improvement
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • High attention to detail and a structured approach to work
  • Confident in Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships
  • A keen interest in sustainability, governance, reporting or financial services
  • A continuous improvement mindset to increase efficiencies across processes and ways of working
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn

Desirable

  • Degree (or near completion) in Sustainability, Business, Finance or a related discipline
