About the role

We’re on the lookout for an Onboarding Officer to join our growing Adviser Onboarding team - the friendly detectives who make sure every Mortgage Adviser joining MAB’s network is exactly who they say they are and meets our high standards. You’ll be the helpful guide (and occasional myth‑buster!) for Advisers, firms and lead sources as they move through our application process. From compliance checks to warm conversations and curious investigation, you’ll play a key part in bringing great advisers into our network safely and smoothly.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Building great working relationships with business owners, regional managers, and individual applicants
  • Running internal and external searches on applicants to ensure everything stacks up
  • Assessing applications to minimise risk and keep our network secure
  • Answering adviser queries with confidence, clarity and a friendly tone
  • Being a positive ambassador for the MAB brand
  • Completing thorough reference checks
  • Carrying out due diligence activities for all advisers
  • Maintaining accurate adviser and business records across internal systems and provider platforms

About You

You’re naturally curious, love getting things right first time and enjoy speaking with people from all walks of life. You’re calm under pressure, organised by instinct, and always happy to go the extra mile to uncover answers and smooth out bumps in the journey. To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A knack for building positive relationships
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Tenacity and an inquisitive mindset
  • Ability to work to targets and tight deadlines
  • A solution-focused approach to challenges
  • Confident with the Microsoft Office suite
  • Organised, structured and steady under pressure

Please note this is not a Recruitment or HR role, it sits within our Sales division, focusing on adviser onboarding and due diligence rather than talent acquisition.

Use of AI

We recognise that AI tools can be a helpful way to articulate your qualities, skills and experience when applying for roles.
