We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Mortgage Administrator to join our team at Mortgage Advice Bureau in Derby. We are looking for someone to join us on a permanent basis, with a fantastic opportunity to develop their career beyond mortgage administration and progress into mortgage advice.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Providing administrative support throughout the mortgage application process
- Progressing mortgage cases from application through to completion
- Liaising with customers, lenders, solicitors and other relevant parties
- Keeping customers and advisers updated on the progress of applications
- Ensuring systems and records are kept accurate and up to date
- Supporting the wider mortgage team with day-to-day administration
- Helping to ensure customers receive a consistently high standard of service

For this reason, we would ideally like to hear from candidates who already hold their CeMAP qualification, or who have a strong interest in progressing into mortgage advice.

- Has previous experience working within mortgage administration
- Has a good understanding of the mortgage application and completion process
- Is organised, proactive and comfortable managing a busy workload
- Has excellent communication and customer service skills
- Works well as part of a team
- Is keen to learn, develop and take on greater responsibility
- Ideally holds CeMAP and has ambitions to progress into mortgage advice
