As search evolves beyond traditional search engines into AI-powered discovery platforms, we're looking for an SEO & GEO Manager who can help ensure our brand remains visible, trusted and easy to find wherever customers choose to search.
The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of our organic search strategy and help shape how MAB is represented across both traditional search engines and emerging AI-powered platforms such as Chat GPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews.
You'll combine technical expertise, content strategy and commercial insight to drive organic growth, improve online visibility and support lead generation across the business.
Working closely with our digital, content and web teams, you'll play a key role in identifying opportunities, influencing strategy and delivering measurable results that support our wider business objectives.
- What You'll Be Doing
- Leading MAB's organic search strategy and performance, driving growth in visibility, traffic and lead quality.
- Developing our approach to Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO), ensuring content is accurately surfaced across AI-powered search and answer engines.
- Driving technical SEO improvements including site architecture, crawlability, indexation, structured data, page speed and Core Web Vitals.
- Partnering with content teams to identify keyword opportunities and create content strategies that support customer journeys.
- Building insightful reporting and presenting recommendations to stakeholders across the business.
- Monitoring industry trends, search algorithm developments and emerging AI search opportunities.
- Ensuring all activity aligns with regulatory and compliance requirements.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for a curious, commercially minded SEO pro who enjoys combining technical know-how with strategic thinking.
You'll bring
- Proven experience in an SEO-focused role, either in-house or agency side.
- A strong understanding of technical and content-led SEO.
- Knowledge of, or a genuine passion for, AI search and Generative Engine Optimisation.
- Experience using tools such as Google Search Console, GA4 and Semrush.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into meaningful insights and recommendations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- The ability to work effectively with developers, content specialists and business stakeholders.
- Experience within a regulated industry would be beneficial but is not essential.
