Mortgage and Protection Adviser
Self-employed | Remote with site visits
Locations: North West, South Yorkshire, North Yorkshire, Midlands and South West
Mortgage Advice Bureau (MAB) is looking for experienced Mortgage and Protection Advisers to help clients buy their new home and find suitable protection cover. This role offers remote working, provided leads and regular site visits.
What You'll Be Doing
- Provide mortgage and protection advice to clients buying new-build and shared ownership properties.
- Guide clients through the mortgage process and recommend solutions suited to their needs.
- Attend site visits and build relationships with clients and development teams.
- Deliver a high standard of service and maintain accurate, compliant records.
What's on Offer
- Leads provided, with remote working alongside site visits.
- Tiered commission: 45% of banking up to £80,000; 55% on the portion from £80,000 to £125,000; 60% on the portion from £125,000 to £150,000; and 65% on the portion above £150,000.
- A commission advance may be available for the right candidate, to be discussed at interview.
Working Pattern
- The three-week rota includes one Saturday in week one, one Sunday in week two and the full weekend off in week three.
- Each weekend day worked comes with a weekday off in lieu.
- Rota days can be swapped with colleagues to accommodate holidays or personal commitments.
What We're Looking For
- An experienced Mortgage and Protection Adviser, ideally with 2-3 years' experience.
- New-build experience or previous MAB training.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
- Ability to work independently, attend site visits and cover the weekend rota.
