We are currently recruiting for an experienced Rail Signalling Project Manager to join a leading rail infrastructure business based in York. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in delivering major signalling and rail systems projects across the UK within a dynamic and safety-critical environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing projects through the full lifecycle, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time and within budget. You will work closely with clients, subcontractors and multidisciplinary delivery teams across design, installation, testing and commissioning phases.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage rail signalling projects from initiation through to completion
  • Monitor project programmes, budgets, resources and risks
  • Coordinate internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with Network Rail standards and rail industry regulations
  • Produce regular project updates and progress reports
  • Support planning, commercial and operational project activities
Requirements:
  • Previous experience delivering rail signalling projects within the UK rail industry
  • Strong understanding of signalling systems, project delivery and safety standards
  • Experience working with Network Rail and principal contractors
  • Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills
  • PRINCE2, APM or similar project management qualification preferred
