Rate: Inside IR35 (Umbrella) Overview We are looking for an experienced procurement professional to manage suppliers, drive sourcing activities, and support procurement operations within a manufacturing and engineering environment. This role requires a highly analytical individual who can work independently, solve problems, and improve processes. Key Responsibilities * Manage supplier relationships, sourcing activities, and commercial negotiations * Ensure Purchase Orders (POs) are issued accurately and on time * Resolve supplier, invoice, and payment issues * Support supplier performance, evaluation, and development activities * Produce procurement analysis, reports, and KPI tracking * Drive process improvements and ensure procurement compliance * Work closely with internal stakeholders to support business requirements Essential Experience * 5+ years' experience in Direct Procurement * Strong SAP procurement experience * Advanced Excel skills and confidence handling large volumes of data * Experience using Power BI for reporting and analysis * Supplier management and negotiation experience * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Desirable Experience * Aerospace, defence, energy, or industrial manufacturing background * Lean / Continuous Improvement experience * Knowledge of castings, forgings, machined or engineered components Ideal Candidate * Proactive "fixer" who seeks solutions rather than escalates problems * Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment * Strong commercial awareness and stakeholder management skills * Data-driven with excellent attention to detail * Experienced in identifying cost savings and process improvements
