An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Procurement Specialist to join a leading organisation within the energy and engineering sector. This role will be responsible for developing and managing a competitive, transparent, and sustainable supply chain while supporting strategic procurement initiatives across a global business environment.

Working closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers, you will drive productivity, supplier performance, quality improvements, and sourcing excellence to support key business objectives.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Previous experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, commodity management, or project management within a complex global organisation.
  • Strong commercial awareness and contract negotiation expertise.
  • Proven experience managing supplier relationships and sourcing activities.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to analyse and present procurement data.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience working within a global supplier network and matrix organisation.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality standards would be advantageous.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification required.
  • MBA or other advanced qualification desirable.
  • Ideally previous experience in Energy.
