Responsibilities:
- Maintain the project schedule by tracking progress, coordinating tasks, and addressing any issues that arise.
- Deliver projects on time, within budget, and to a high standard while ensuring strong health and safety practices across all work sites.
- Manage the project plan by reviewing designs, drawings, specifications, and schedules, recommending adjustments as needed.
- Oversee project costs by approving expenditures and managing contractor contracts.
About You:
- Possess strong knowledge of railway project delivery, a solid understanding of CDM regulations, and familiarity with rail-specific health and safety requirements.
- Apply Network Rail processes and procedures to ensure cost-effective, high-quality, and safe design, construction, commissioning, and technical activities across relevant projects.
- Negotiate contracts with external suppliers to secure favourable terms, and work closely with engineers, architects, and other specialists to define project specifications.
- Develop a detailed project plan to ensure work is completed on schedule and within budget, monitor progress, and clearly communicate updates to clients and team members.
- Maintain ongoing communication and attend meetings with clients and their representatives to keep them fully informed of project status.
