Our client is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their Rail Infrastructure team based in Manchester, working on a range of high-profile and technically complex rail projects. This is a long-term contract opportunity where you will provide a dedicated pre- and post-contract commercial management service, acting as the primary commercial interface with customers, stakeholders, and delivery teams across your assigned projects.
Qualifications & Background
- Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor within Rail
- Experience within Rail, Engineering, Defence, or similar construction sectors preferred
- HND / Degree qualified or equivalent (essential)
- Working towards or holding professional membership (RICS, CICES)
- Minimum 5 years experience in a contractor-side project environment
- Strong contractual knowledge and understanding
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and commercial reporting software
