Contract: 6 month renewable, PAYE Hours: 37.5 hours per week We are looking for a Goods In Quality Inspector to support the inspection and quality verification of incoming materials and components. You will ensure products meet required quality standards before being released into production. This is a quality-focused role within a manufacturing environment. While supervisory experience is beneficial, it is not essential. Key Responsibilities * Inspect incoming materials and components against specifications and quality standards. * Check material certificates, documentation and traceability records. * Use measuring and inspection equipment to verify product quality. * Identify and record defects, non-conformances and quality issues. * Support investigations and root cause analysis when quality concerns arise. * Complete inspection reports and maintain accurate quality records. * Work closely with production, suppliers and quality teams to resolve issues. * Ensure compliance with company quality procedures and standards. Essential Experience * Previous experience in a Quality Inspector, Goods In Inspector or similar quality role. * Experience working in a manufacturing or engineering environment. * Able to use inspection and measuring equipment. * Experience checking products against drawings, specifications or quality standards. * Good attention to detail and documentation skills. * Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Desirable Experience * Goods In / Incoming Inspection experience. * Calibration experience. * NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) experience. * Experience reading engineering drawings. * Knowledge of quality systems and continuous improvement processes. * Previous supervisory or team-leading experience
