We are seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to join a leading rail contractor, overseeing day-to-day operations on civils projects in the Southern region. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising crane operations, plant activities, and ground staff, while ensuring strict compliance with health, safety, and quality standards. You will also maintain detailed documentation, including permits, risk assessments, and site reports, in line with rail industry regulations. Working under the Works Delivery Manager, you will help deliver high-quality civil engineering works, driving continuous improvement and promoting a culture of safety and efficiency on site.
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience as a Site Supervisor in rail or civil engineering environments.
- Strong knowledge of crane supervision and lifting operations.
- Experience creating and managing civil project plans.
- Ability to manage teams across different disciplines effectively.
- Familiarity with compliance documentation and railway reporting systems.
- CSCS card and SSSTS/SMSTS (preferred).
