Morson Vital are recruiting an experienced Construction Manager to oversee the safe delivery of rail Electrification & Plant (E&P) and Power & Distribution (P&D) projects across the UK. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader with strong site management expertise and a solid understanding of CDM Regulations within a rail environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate site construction activities across E&P and P&D projects.
- Ensure full compliance with CDM 2015, health, safety, and environmental requirements.
- Manage contractors, subcontractors, and site teams to deliver projects safely and efficiently.
- Monitor programme, quality, and productivity to achieve project objectives.
- Conduct site inspections, risk reviews, and ensure effective implementation of safe systems of work.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Construction Manager within the rail sector.
- Strong background in E&P and Power & Distribution infrastructure projects.
- Sound knowledge of CDM Regulations, construction safety, and rail standards.
- Experience managing multidisciplinary site teams and contractors.
- PTS and relevant rail construction certifications preferred.
