Our major rail client is seeking an experienced SSOW Planner to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised and detail-oriented individual with strong line blockage experience to play a key role in the safe and efficient delivery of rail projects.
A key part of this role will involve the preparation of Safe Systems of Work Packs (SSOWP), ensuring all access arrangements are clearly defined, compliant, and communicated effectively to relevant stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Proven experience within the railway infrastructure sector
- Demonstrable track record of producing access plans and managing line blockages
- Access to Railhub
- Valid PTS (Personal Track Safety) certification
- Experience producing detailed work packs (including SSOWP)
- Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to liaise confidently with stakeholders at all levels
