National Grid is seeking an experienced Primary / HV Plant Design Engineer to deliver HV substation plant designs for transmission projects up to 400 kV. You will develop SR188-compliant layouts, review general arrangements, equipment installations, earth layouts, and busbar configurations, working across Civil, P&C, Mechanical and Primary design teams.
You will lead technical work packages, perform design reviews, and support FEED through commissioning, ensuring safety, compliance and on-time delivery.
