Job Description - SC Cleared Electrician
Location: RAF St Mawgan, Cornwall
Contract: Initial 3-6 months with the potential for ongoing work until 2029
About the Role
We are looking for experienced SC Cleared Electricians to join a major commercial and industrial electrical installation project at RAF St Mawgan.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on a long-term, high-profile project with the potential for continued work based on performance and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for carrying out high-quality commercial and industrial electrical installations, including:
- Installation of steel trunking, cable trays and ladder systems
- Installation of LV distribution equipment
- Pulling, glanding and terminating singles and SWA cabling
- Electrical testing and fault finding where required
- Working safely in accordance with site procedures and health & safety regulations
Applicants must have
- Current SC (Security Check) Clearance - Mandatory
- Valid ECS Gold Card or ECS Black Card
- Proven experience in commercial and industrial electrical installations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong commitment to quality and safe working practices
Pay & Working Hours
- Approximately 50 hours per week
- Standard working hours: 07:30 - 17:30 (Monday to Friday)
- Weekend work, when available, paid x 1.5
- Overtime is subject to project requirements and site opening hours
- Initial contract of 3-6 months
- Opportunity for further work on a project scheduled to continue until 2029
- Immediate starts available for suitably qualified and SC Cleared candidates
