We currently have an opportunity for a Supply Chain Professional working in the Hawk Supply Chain Team. This role is hybrid and based out of the Samlesbury site. This is an entry-level role in the business.
As a Supply Chain Professional, you will manage the Request for Quotations (RFQs) orderbook with various internal and external stakeholders to provide orderbook input into the Project Team. You will assist and focus on coordinating and delivering customer requirements within stringent timescales. The role is fundamental in supporting our Customer Operational requirements whilst interacting with key stakeholders across all business functions.
Duties will involve:
- Liaising with the internal functions including Commercial, Engineering and Procurement to deliver a successful supply chain whilst continuously enhancing customer satisfaction.
- Supporting the full end-to-end management of RFQs including stakeholder management across multiple functions.
- Managing the RFQ from receipt to quotation using the systems and reporting tools available.
- Preparing for and supporting Customer facing RFQ reviews.
- Liaising with internal and external Customers including national and international partners.
Essential / Desirable skills:
- Supply Chain knowledge and experience.
- Experience of using ERP systems such as LN & IFS2004 and Co-op.
- Previous experience working within a Customer Interface role.
- Experience in data manipulation.
- Excellent Microsoft Office knowledge with strong Excel skills.
- Ability to understand how to build a quotation to customer from supplier information, including currency exchange rates.
