We are currently partnering with a specialist Alternative Investment firm based in London who are seeking to appoint a Head of Operations on a permanent basis as a key foundational hire within the business. This is a pivotal role responsible for owning and developing the firm’s end-to-end back-office infrastructure, playing a critical part in shaping how the organisation scales over the next decade.
The successful candidate will assume full responsibility for the firm’s operational infrastructure, overseeing fund administration, investor operations, compliance, finance, HR, and technology functions. They will be instrumental in establishing and enhancing scalable, efficient, and well-governed operating frameworks that support the firm’s continued growth and long-term strategic objectives.
Key Requirements- 3+ years’ experience in a Head of Operations, Head of Fund Operations, or Head of Finance role.
- Proven track record of designing, delivering, and enhancing back-office infrastructure and operational frameworks.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience managing internal teams and external vendors.
- Demonstrable experience operating within an FCA-regulated environment.
- Direct experience with FATCA/CRS reporting, KYC/AML processes, and MNPI handling.
- Proven ability to scale teams within private equity, venture capital, alternative investments, or wider investment management environments.
