Location: A422 NN13 5JH EKFB is proud to have been appointed by HS2 to deliver civil engineering works across an 80km section of the new high speed rail link between the Chiltern Tunnel and Long Itchington Wood. Were seeking to recruit a Site Engineer with Highways experience in the Brackley area. The Site Engineer will oversee and supervise construction activities and ensuring that they comply with the project plans and drawings. In this role you will liaise with subcontractors, and other professional staff, particularly Works Managers, Foremen, Section Engineers and Sub Agents. You will check and prepare site reports, designs and drawings and also manage, monitor and interpret the contract design documents. You will ensure project packages meet agreed specifications, budgets or timescales and provide technical advise and solving problems on-site. In addition you will be doing Basic Setting out and as built survey, placing requisitions/material orders, requesting permits and perform quality controls of subcontracted work and self delivered activities.
