A London Market Insurance firm is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join its Business Process Optimisation function, playing a central role in shaping how the business operates as it continues to grow through acquisition.
This is a pure business change role — not a technical/IT BA position. You'll work at the heart of the organisation's Target Operating Model (TOM), helping to assess, validate and document operating models for newly acquired entities, run impact analyses on change initiatives, and ensure integration activities land cleanly against the agreed model.
Beyond integration work, you'll lead end-to-end process analysis across the group's operational entities, applying lean and continuous improvement principles to identify inefficiencies, redesign processes, and define the metrics needed to track the impact of change. You'll build and maintain a central repository of process documentation and operating model maps that supports the business's ongoing transformation agenda.
You'll work closely with senior stakeholders, business owners, and project teams across the group, leading workshops and collaborative sessions, and providing informal guidance to less experienced BAs.
Key Skills Required:- At least 6 years' experience as a Business Analyst within Insurance.
- Strong process mapping skills (BPMN, Visio) and a lean/continuous improvement mindset.
- Root cause analysis experience, with the ability to turn findings into actionable recommendations.
- Confident workshop facilitation and senior stakeholder management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to flex between technical and non-technical audiences.
- Any experience with M&A integrations would be amazing.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-respected business in the London Insurance Market.
