Role Overview

As an SAP Application Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting and delivering application solutions across major transformation programmes. You will act as a subject matter expert for specific SAP application platforms, working closely with architecture, strategy, and project teams to ensure solutions align with business and technical objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert guidance and consultancy on designated SAP application platforms to transformation teams and project stakeholders.
  • Contribute specialist input into the global and local definition of application strategy, standards, and operating procedures.
  • Translate high-level architectural designs into detailed, implementable solution designs.
  • Collaborate closely with the Architecture & Strategy team to ensure consistency and alignment across solutions.
  • Produce and maintain high-quality design documentation using modelling and document management tools.
  • Support both project delivery and ongoing application support within a complex SAP environment.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Minimum of 5 years’ relevant professional experience in SAP or enterprise application roles.
  • At least 5 years’ hands-on experience in application solution design and delivery of IT solutions.
  • Proven experience working within project delivery and application support organisations.
  • Experience delivering industrial platforms or horizontal software middleware solutions.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise technologies and common packaged platforms and systems.
  • Ability to work effectively in large, complex environments with multiple stakeholders.
