Morson Talent are currently recruiting for a roofer to work in the estates department on-site in Devonport Dockyard in Plymouth.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in roofing and be adept at working on slate and tiled roofs. Responsibilities include the repair and replacement of soffits and fascias. The role demands the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, and the physical capability to traverse various site conditions. While a full driving licence is advantageous, it is not essential.
Qualifications & Requirements

– Previous roofing experience
– Ability to work at heights
– Good understanding of slate and tiled roofs
– Repair and replacement of soffits and fascia\’s
– Good customer skills
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Physically able to traverse the site
– Effective communication with customers
– Full driving licence (desirable but not essential)
– Knowledge of health and safety regulation
Pay Rates
PAYE – £18.61 per hour
Umbrella – £23.09 per hour (Pre 12 weeks) & £24.13 per hour (Post 12 weeks)
+ Radius Allowance.
Work Arrangements
35 standard hours a week, 07:30 – 15:30 Monday to Thursday, 07:30 – 12:30 on a Friday, shift and overtime a possibility but not guaranteed.
The successful candidate will need to obtain full SC security clearance in order to fulfil this role.
12 month initial contract
