About the Role
Morson is recruiting for an experienced Senior Road Safety Engineer to join a leading organisation within the transportation and infrastructure sector. This role offers the chance to deliver safe, sustainable and high-quality transport networks across the UK and overseas.
You will play a key role in ensuring road safety is embedded at every stage of project delivery—from design through to operation. The position involves conducting road safety audits, operational safety reviews, and risk assessments, while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to promote continuous improvement in safety practices.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver road safety audits and reviews in line with UK and international standards

Conduct operational safety reviews, risk assessments, and collision analysis

Collaborate with clients, stakeholders and colleagues to embed safety across project lifecycles

Support the growth of road safety capability in the South-East and Middle East

Promote knowledge sharing and best practice within the team

Work flexibly, with opportunities for training, qualifications, and internal transfers
What We\’re Looking For

Proven experience in road safety engineering, including audits, risk assessments and collision investigations

DMRB GG119 Certificate of Competence, with current compliance as an Audit Team Leader or Member

Strong understanding of design standards and governance processes

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Membership of a recognised professional institute, with eligibility to work towards IEng/CEng (if not already registered)

Full UK driving licence
