Interviews: Taking place this week. Morson Talent is recruiting on behalf of Mott MacDonald for a confident and proactive Front of House & Office Coordinator to join their Cambridge office. This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same. You will be the face of the office — welcoming visitors, managing the switchboard, and keeping the day-to-day running smoothly. You will also support with general admin tasks such as booking taxis and meeting rooms, and you will play a key role in wider office coordination.
Key responsibilities include:
- Acting as the first point of contact for visitors and calls to the office
- Managing the office switchboard and redirecting calls appropriately
- Booking taxis, couriers, and meeting rooms as needed
- Supporting general office administration tasks such as filing, ordering supplies, and managing inboxes
- Assisting with diary coordination and room set-up for meetings or events
- Helping to maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming front-of-house area
- Supporting colleagues with ad hoc administrative tasks and providing cover when others are away
- Assisting with office communications and signage, including creating posters and notices
- Getting involved in organising and running internal events and office socials
- Supporting health and safety processes, including basic assessments and office checks
We are looking for someone who is:
- Confident and comfortable speaking to people at all levels
- Outgoing and able to build rapport easily
- A team player who is happy to support colleagues when needed
- Flexible and willing to get stuck into a range of tasks
- Comfortable using Outlook and Excel (basic inbox and spreadsheet use)
This role is a backfill for a previous contractor and could lead to a permanent position for the right person.
