Quality and Safety Engineer Industry: Energy, Water, Renewables, Manufacturing Contract Type: Permanent Location: Stone Summary: Morson Group is seeking a Quality and Safety Engineer to join our clients Central Services department in Stone. The successful candidate will report to the Quality and Safety Manager and be a key member of the QESH team. They will be responsible for providing comprehensive quality assurance and health and safety support across the business, including customer interactions, QA system setups, inspections, documentation review, risk assessments, and policy production. The role also involves some travel to various sites and suppliers. Previous experience in a nuclear supply chain or highly regulated industry is advantageous. In addition to quality and safety, occasional support on environmental and security matters may be required. Skills: • Minimum of five years\’ experience in a similar role • Proficient with ISO 9001, 14001, OHSAS 45001 standards • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills • Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise effectively • Experience in regulated industries like nuclear • Full UK driving license and willingness to travel • Ability to gain SC Clearance • Knowledge of risk assessment and systems of work • Experience with QA inspections and documentation review • Ability to produce metrics and analyse reports Software/Tools: • MS Word • MS Excel Certifications & Standards: • ISO 9001 (Quality Management) • ISO 14001 (Environmental Management) • OHSAS 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety) • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent (desirable) • Membership of relevant institutes such as CQA, IOSH, IEMA (desirable) If you are a Quality and Safety Engineer looking for the next stage in your career then please apply!
