My client is seeking a skilled and motivated Project Support Engineer to join a growing team on a long-term security transformation programme at Heathrow Airport. This is a hands-on role supporting the implementation, integration, and maintenance of critical telecoms and network systems across a busy airport environment.

This opportunity is ideal for an experienced IT, network, or engineering professional who thrives in complex infrastructure projects, especially in environments where CCTV, access control, and wireless technologies play a key role.

Key Responsibilities:
Support delivery of IT Minor Works projects at Heathrow and other locations as needed.

Coordinate with suppliers and project stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.

Maintain accurate project data and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Attend site meetings, progress reviews, and client sessions as required.

Collaborate closely with key airport departments to ensure project success.

Support and manage systems like CCTV (Genetec), Xovis, BWC, ANPR, Crowdvision, and other edge devices.

Required Skills & Experience:
Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Background in telecoms or network support in enterprise or service provider environments.

Hands-on experience with LAN technology; knowledge of wireless, CCTV, and access control systems is highly advantageous.

Familiarity with system integration and real-world deployments.

Proficiency in MS Project, Excel, Word, Visio.

Educated to C&G, HNC, or A-level standard.

Formal training in IT systems, network technology, or project management is desirable.
