Project Controls Director required for major international consultancy. Permanent Staff Position Flexible Location – Hybrid Working Arrangements Role Brief: Responsible for supporting and leading high profile commissions, and playing a key role in developing and growing the Project Controls and PMO service. In this role, you will be a senior member of the leadership team. Responsibility includes managing client relationships, developing new business, and managing service delivery of multiple existing projects. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Actively identifying new business development opportunities and driving growth across the UK. Leading and preparing bids for new programs and frameworks Embracing our digital tools and identifying opportunities to bring innovation in data and reporting to clients Ensuring that commissions are managed in accordance with processes and procedures (governance and controls). Delivering high quality project controls services ensuring that services meet and exceed our clients requirements. Managing and maintaining quality client relationships Leading and managing Teams, including working with Project Directors in managing resources and workload. Ensuring compliance with administrative requirements (appraisals, training, timesheets etc) Managing employees, focusing on retention and development. Developing and enhancing project controls capability. Helping to define and deliver the Project Controls and PMO strategies Experience, Knowledge and Key Skills Extensive experience working in and leading project controls consultancy Ability to motivate others (including providing support and encouragement) Excellent organisational skills and the ability to quickly adapt to changing environments Proficient networker Specialist knowledge of a specific infrastructure industry sector – rail, water, power, airports Ability to prepare first-class bids for services Demonstrable evidence of delivering services to Clients and managing Client relationships Demonstrable experience of timely interfacing with clients and key stakeholders at the highest level Qualifications Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or equivalent Membership of APM, and or Controls and Skills Authority Relevant project controls software e.g. MSP, P6
