Job Description
This role is based within our Utility Solutions Practice, which provides utility-based products and services to a wide range of clients.
The role will be based in our Bristol office and during the onboarding process, the role will require attendance in our office for training purposes. We advocate agile and flexible working, therefore the successful candidate will work between the office and home, depending on the requirements of the team, our clients and also the individual.
To support our growing team, Utility Solutions are looking for a Project Assistant, a role that requires an accurate, numerate individual with an eye for detail. An approachable, calm and collaborative demeanor is also required, to effectively engage with stakeholders at various levels, both internally and externally.
Project Assistant will be responsible for activities including:
Monitoring and maintenance of a shared mailbox and supporting the Project team with general inbox management and queries.
Resolving queries with asset owner organisations and fostering good working relationships with these stakeholders.
Coordination, management and procurement of supplier plans and payments i.e. BACS, credit card, invoices.
Preparing and updating project reports on performance, and able to communicate to stakeholders at all levels.
Monitoring of client commercial status, e.g. credit check information, debt, payment history.
Support audits and quality assurance of work within the Project team, reporting findings to the Project Manager and Quality Assurance.
Set up of new customers within company financial systems.
Providing project support and administrative tasks to other teams within the Practice.
Additional ad hoc activities as required.
Requirements:
Computer literate, particularly in MS Office.
Ability to identify, analyse, prioritise and resolve problems.
Conscientious, attentive to detail and organised.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Enthusiastic, able to adopt a flexible approach to varying workload and conflicting demands.
Ability to manage time and prioritise workload effectively.
[Desirable] Experience in a previous administration / project related role.
