Production Support Administration £12.60 per hour PAYE 8 Months 37hrs per week Portsmouth Inside IR35 We’re looking for a detail-focused and proactive Production Support Administrator to join our busy Planning Operations team. You’ll play an important part in preparing documents, work packs and records that enable production to run smoothly. This role would suit someone with strong administrative skills who enjoys working with data, systems, and processes in a fast-paced engineering environment. Key Responsibilities: • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Planning and Production teams. • Upload, update, and attach documents in the Work Management Tool (WMT). • Create and print work packs, drawings, and reference materials ready for production. • Check that all service orders include the correct details and supporting documentation before approval. • Gather and collate information from different departments to support planners. • Maintain spreadsheets and trackers to monitor planning progress and document status. • Resolve missing information or document issues flagged within the system. • Assist with raising and updating change requests when required. • Support general office and planning administration duties as directed by the Planning Operations Manager. Experience & Skills: Essential: • Confident IT skills with good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook. • High attention to detail with accurate data entry and record-keeping. • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities. • Clear communicator with a positive and proactive attitude. • Able to work well both independently and as part of a team. Desirable: • Previous experience in an administrative or planning support role. • Familiarity with ERP or document management systems (training can be provided).
