Press Brake Operator – Aerospace
Location: Burnley
Pay Rate: £16.45 per hour (PAYE) | £21.70 per hour (Umbrella) | Shift Pattern TBC
Morson is assisting are recruiting for an experienced Press Brake Operator to join a well-established Aerospace manufacturing client based in Burnley. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a high-precision, regulated environment producing components for the aerospace sector.
Responsibilities
- Setting and operating CNC and/or manual press brake machines
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Producing components to tight tolerances and quality standards
- Carrying out first-off inspections and ongoing quality checks
- Working in line with aerospace procedures, health & safety, and quality requirements
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience as a Press Brake Operator
- Ability to read and understand complex engineering drawings
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Experience working with tight tolerances and inspection processes
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable Experience
- Experience operating Trumpf and/or Amada press brake machines
- Background within aerospace or other high-precision manufacturing environments
