About the Role
As a result of significant growth, our client is looking for a PCB Designer to increase their CAD Processing & PCB Layout Design Team.
Job specifications:
- Helping to plan, layout and create new multilayer printed circuit board designs using Altium Designer.
- Library part creation and schematic capture.
- Liaising with the testing team, ensuring compliance is in line with company and customer requirements.
- Generating information required for quotations and liaising with the sales team.
- Running testability analysis reports.
- Extracting information from Gerber files.
- Processing board CAD information to prepare customer quotations and software design files.
Skills/experience:
- Experience working within a similar role.
- Experience focused on PCB layout design using Altium Designer.
- Ability to read schematics and technical drawings.
- Ability to understand and communicate technical information.
- Good organisational skills.
- Accuracy / attention to detail.
- Problem solving techniques.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
