Morson Edge are recruiting for an Onsite Stock Coordinator to work for our National Client at a site based in Barrow. As our Onsite Stock Coordinator, you will work at a key customer’s site in Barrow to ensure their PPE vending machines are fully stocked at all times. This will require someone who has a high attention to detail, is comfortable working autonomously and can work to a schedule. This is a manual role, as such, experience within a role involving large amounts of manual handling, preferably within a warehousing environment, would be advantageous. This is a full‑time, on‑site position, working Monday to Thursday 08:00‑16:30 and Friday 08:00‑17:00.

Key responsibilities:

  • Acquire relevant stock items for customer stores
  • Drive a company van on customers site to ensure stores are fully stocked
  • Liaise directly with customers and account managers to ensure a high level of service
  • Efficiently manage time to ensure customers sites are visited at agreed dates and times
  • Provide web support for self‑managed customers
  • Liaise with the central team to ensure stocks are counted and accurate data maintained, as well as updating them on relevant customer information
  • Maintain professional housekeeping standards of all inventory and locations within a customer site and work in the trade counter as required in times of absence/holidays of colleagues
  • Comply with vehicle servicing requirements and maintain the appearance of their company vehicle
  • Complete weekly control forms to be returned to the central team for logging

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • A full UK driving licence
  • No history that may affect their security clearance
  • Experience within stock management would be greatly advantageous
  • Strong communication and customer service skills to liaise with customers and management
  • Excellent IT skills/knowledge with the ability to adapt to new systems
  • The ability to plan, prioritise and effectively manage your own daily/weekly workload
  • Experience of manual handling in a warehousing environment or similar

Security Requirements:

Successful candidates must be eligible to undergo BPSS and SC Clearance to work at the site (support will be provided through the application process).

Pay Rates & Work Arrangements:

£12.97 p/hour, 37 standard hours a week, Monday to Thursday 08:00‑16:30 and Friday 08:00‑17:00, 33 days holiday annually, Temp to Perm position. The successful candidate will need to achieve full SC security clearance in order to fulfil this role.
