MIDAS SOFTWARE ENGINEER – CONTRACT 12 MONTHS – WARTON Nr Preston Hybrid Working 2/3 days on site per week. Supporting the design & development of the MIDAS Mission Management system for the next generation of military platforms across Air, Land and Sea. This will entail working within an Agile framework and utilising model-based system engineering techniques to create the MIDAS product. As a MIDAS Software Engineer, you will be responsible to the MIDAS Software Group Lead to support the development of Software Design, Code and Test required to support Support the engineering planning activities Liaise with MIDAS Systems & Test Engineers Software Design Software Code (C++/Misra C++) Software Test Safety & Security WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU / SKILLS & PROVEN ABILITY Ability with integration within a delivery programme for Systems and Software. Knowledge of the Engineering Lifecycle and associated governance. Knowledge or awareness of Model Based Engineering tools (Cameo). Requirements Management (DOORS) System Definition (SysML / CAMEO) Data Modelling System/Software (SysML / UML) Software Coding (C++/Misra C++) Auto Code Generation DESIRABLES Awareness of or have used Agile methodology supported by the Atlassian toolset would be advantageous.
