We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Maintrol Engineer to join our Engineering team based at our Head Office in Didsbury, Manchester. This is an exciting opportunity to play a critical role at the heart of our operation, ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient performance of our fleet.

The Role
As a Maintrol Engineer, you will:
- Act as the central coordination point between Line Stations, third-party maintenance providers, and flight crews to ensure safe and reliable daily operations.
- Manage scheduled and unscheduled Line Maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maintenance programmes.
- Control and monitor Acceptable Deferred Defects (ADDs), driving timely rectification and coordinating spares, tooling, and documentation requirements.
- Support aircraft recovery through technical guidance, logistics coordination, and management of crew duty-time considerations.
- Provide real-time technical assistance to pilots and engineers during both in-flight and ground-based operational events.
- Coordinate information flow following aircraft incidents and contribute to operational recovery planning.
- Allocate aircraft in line with operational, engineering, and maintenance priorities.
- Improve aircraft and engineering performance through proactive use of aircraft monitoring and prognostic tools.
- Deliver specialist technical support while balancing safety, regulatory, technical, and commercial considerations.
About You
You will possess:
- UK/EASA Part-66 B1 or B2 Licence.
- Experience within a maintenance or maintenance control environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to interpret complex technical information.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills.
- High levels of situational awareness and sound decision-making capability.
- The ability to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced operational environment.
- Proven ability to deliver cost-effective solutions and drive operational efficiencies.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to process compliance.
- Good understanding of airline operations and engineering procedures.
- Computer literacy, including experience with Microsoft Office and maintenance management systems.
Desirable
- Experience working on Embraer 170/190 aircraft or similar modern regional jet technology.
