The Opportunity
We’re looking for a motivated Bid Writer to join our growing Bid & Proposals team in Manchester. This is an ideal step for someone currently working as a Bid Coordinator ready to develop writing skills, or a Graduate/Junior Bid Writer looking to take on more responsibility and ownership. Reporting to the Bid & Proposal Lead, you’ll support the creation of high-quality, persuasive tender responses across a variety of sectors — from recruitment and engineering to infrastructure and professional services.

What You'll Be Doing
- Write and Develop Content: Draft clear, engaging responses that showcase Morson’s strengths and align with client requirements.
- Work with SMEs: Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather technical and service information for use in responses.
- Support Bid Management: Assist in planning, coordinating and tracking submissions, working closely with the wider bid team.
- Ensure Quality and Consistency: Edit and refine content to ensure it aligns with our brand tone and messaging.
- Learn and Grow: Build your skills across writing, editing, compliance, and strategy in a supportive and fast-paced environment.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in a Bid Coordinator, Junior Bid Writer, or graduate-level role within bids, marketing, communications, or a related field.
- Strong writing and editing skills — you enjoy turning complex information into compelling narratives.
- Great organisational skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Confident communicator who enjoys working collaboratively with different stakeholders.
- Familiarity with tendering or procurement processes (desirable but not essential).
- A proactive mindset and a desire to grow within a successful, supportive team.
