Role Purpose: The IT Asset Coordinator is responsible for supporting the IT Services team in delivering functional and cost-efficient services that align with business needs. A key aspect of the role is to ensure accurate and up-to-date records of PC and mobile assets throughout their life cycle. This facilitates effective reporting and leasing of assets within the organization. Additionally, the role plays a pivotal part in improving IT’s overall performance by analysing and refining processes, investigating recurring incidents, and presenting insights and recommendations to the Head of IT Operations. Key Responsibilities: Asset Management Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of PC and mobile assets throughout their life cycle. Facilitate effective reporting and leasing of IT assets across the organization. Ensure compliance with asset management policies and procedures. Performance Improvement Review and refine key IT processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Identify and investigate recurring IT incidents and problems. Provide operational support to the IT support team Support reporting activities related to IT service performance and asset utilization. Key Skills & Competencies: Proficiency in IT asset management tools and reporting software. Efficient with Excel, PowerPoint and general reporting tools Strong problem-solving capabilities to identify patterns in incidents and recommend solutions. Ability to analyse processes and suggest improvements. Organizational Skills: Meticulous attention to detail in managing asset records and reporting. Effective time management to handle multiple responsibilities concurrently. Key Deliverables: Accurate and up-to-date PC and mobile asset records. Reports on asset utilization and leasing activities. Insights and recommendations for process improvements and recurring incident solutions. Improved IT service performance metrics aligned with business needs. Following inital training peroid at the Leeds office this role can be predominatly peformed from home
