We have exciting opportunities for Inclusive Design Professionals required across the United Kingdom.

About the Opportunity:

Our Inclusive Design team in the UK are seeking a number of Inclusive Design Professionals to help deliver our operational growth plan that requires specialist input to develop solutions to various challenges at all project stages. The Inclusive Design team at Jacobs takes a unique technical, engineering-based approach to deliver a built environment that works for the maximum range of people. Informed by research, data and evidence, we deliver solutions that are relevant and future-proofed. We go beyond 'access for disabled people' to seamlessly meet the requirements of a diverse population, within our projects.

Building on the existing capability, this new team will provide inclusive design input into the company's future pipeline of UK based work for a public sector client, in addition to undertaking standalone inclusive design work. Reporting to the Inclusive Design Lead, we are seeking a team of strategic thinking inclusive design professionals who can demonstrate passion, flair and expertise within inclusive design.

Here's What You'll Need:

  • A good working knowledge of UK and European legislation.
  • A proven track record advising on inclusive design.
  • Preference to those with a transport planning or human factors background; however, keen to explore all disciplines and experience.
  • Have recognised expertise in the discipline, and a proven track record working with key stakeholders, clients, and organisations.
  • Pragmatic passion for innovation and futureproofing developments.
  • Experience of working with data and research to inform and develop solutions.
  • Have achieved NRAC consultant level accreditation.
  • The drive and passion to push forwards and progress inclusive design on a large scale.
  • Flexibility to support endeavours in multiple regions through varied deployment (locally to the project as well as remote working) to suit client needs.
