Morson Edge is pleased to be supporting our client in finding an HR Advisor where you will provide specialist HR and employee relations support across a broad range of people matters, ensuring fair, consistent and legally compliant practices throughout the organisation. The successful candidate will work closely with managers and leadership teams to support operational and strategic HR activity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and update HR policies, procedures and guidance to ensure alignment with current employment legislation and organisational requirements.
  • Monitor developments in employment law and HR best practice, providing guidance and updates to managers where appropriate.
  • Ensure HR processes and decisions are compliant, consistent and appropriately documented.
  • Manage a varied caseload of employee relations matters, including workplace concerns, disciplinary issues, capability matters and formal appeals.
  • Provide clear, practical advice to managers and senior stakeholders on a range of employee relations and people-management matters.
  • Lead and coordinate workplace investigations, including evidence gathering, interviews and report writing with clear recommendations.
  • Prepare documentation and support formal meetings, hearings and related processes.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential records relating to casework and employee relations activity.
  • Support organisational change initiatives, including consultation processes, restructures and workforce change programmes.
  • Offer guidance and support to wider HR team members on complex casework and policy interpretation.

Person Specification

  • Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practice.
  • Experience handling complex employee relations matters and formal HR casework.
  • Experience supporting organisational change activity and consultation processes.
  • Confident communicating with managers and senior stakeholders.
  • Background in employee relations, HR advisory or workplace investigations.
