Morson Talent is delighted to be supporting a Global Business based in Fife to find a Human Resources Advisor. Reporting into the HR Business Partner, you will be instrumental to the HR lifecycle providing support and advice to management and employees throughout the business. This is a permanent position of 37.5 hours per week with a fantastic salary of up to £40,000.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Support management in advising on HR policy and procedures
- Adhere and monitor compliance with regulation and legislation of industry standards to ensure health and safety of employees
- Be key point of contact for employees on contractual, benefits, salary, and ER queries
- Advise Management on policies and procedures to include: performance management, grievances, disciplinaries, and employment legislation
- Be an active point of support for all matters in terms of employee relations as well as immigration issues
- Oversee and assess long term absences
- Contribute to preparation of employee tribunal information
- Coordinate exit interviews
- Assist in the recruitment process through understanding Hiring Manager’s requirements to write job descriptions and source suitable candidates
- Maintain candidate information to the HR system and coordinate interviews
- Be a key point of support in complex compensation and benefits queries and issues
- Provide support to the wider HR Team and divisional managers in project work as needed
- Ensure consistent maintenance in knowledge and understanding of regulation and legislation changes and updates which affect employee relations
- Other ad hoc tasks and duties as required
Personal Specification:
- Experience working in a similar advisory/people coordinator role
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Employment Law
- Personable and excellent communication skills: able to confidently and professionally collaborate with management and other staff on ER matters
- Organised self-starter able to work as part of a team but also autonomously
- CIPD L5 or equivalent work experience
- Happy to undertake occasional travel to another site
- Experience working in a blue collar industry desirable but not essential
