Morson Edge Finance is supporting the appointment of a Group Finance Manager to join Urenco’s high‑performing Group Accounting & Reporting function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage monthly Group consolidations across multiple international entities.
  • Prepare and review consolidation journals, company adjustments and Group adjustments.
  • Prepare and review FX reserve reconciliations, Statement of Comprehensive Income and Statement of Changes in Equity.
  • Review treasury accounting journals, reconciliations and treasury‑related reporting activities.
  • Support the preparation of interim and year‑end Group financial statements and associated disclosures.
  • Prepare and review statutory accounts for Group and Head Office entities.
  • Act as a key point of contact for external auditors throughout interim and year‑end reporting cycles.
  • Support the preparation of regulatory and external financial reporting requirements.
  • Investigate complex accounting issues, unusual balances and reconciliation matters.
  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of financial controls, including areas relating to expected credit losses and hedging reserves.
  • Drive continuous improvement of finance processes, systems and reporting activities.
  • Work closely with Treasury, Finance and wider business stakeholders across multiple international jurisdictions.

What do you need to thrive in this role?

  • ACA qualified, ideally trained within a Big 4 accountancy practice.
  • Strong technical accounting background gained within Group Reporting, Financial Reporting or Group Finance environments.
  • Significant experience of IFRS reporting within a multinational Group structure.
  • Experience of Group consolidations and preparation of consolidated financial statements.
  • Treasury accounting experience, including treasury journals, reconciliations and hedge accounting exposure.
  • Multi‑currency reporting experience including complex FX accounting and FX reserve reconciliations.
  • Experience managing external audit relationships.
  • Experience operating within large, complex international organisations.
