Operating within SP Transmission's Contract Planning and Performance function, this role sits at the centre of a diverse supplier ecosystem comprising local, national and global providers delivering critical equipment, materials and services to our transmission network.
Expectations
- Developing and maintaining supplier governance data and reporting
- Building a supplier database to support the provision of accurate, timely data insights on supplier criticality, risk, cost, supplier markets and performance
- Supporting the implementation of structured supplier governance approaches
- Producing analysis and reporting to inform commercial, operational and strategic decisions
- Maintaining visibility of contract lifecycle events, including renewals and key milestones
- Supports governance across a multi supplier environment
- Contributes to oversight of supplier criticality, supply chain and markets risk and performance
- Produces reporting influencing operational and strategic decision making
- Plans and manages delivery of reporting, analysis and governance outputs within a defined timeframe
- Organises and maintains supplier data, reporting cycles and governance schedules
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience in a supplier governance related role
- Strong analytical and data interpretation capability
- Ability to translate complex data and market trends into clear, actionable insight
- Reporting and dashboard development (Excel and Power BI or other visualisation/reporting tools essential)
- Understanding of supplier and contract governance and performance frameworks
- Awareness of commercial and financial management principles
