Job Description

We have an excellent new opportunity for an EC&I Engineer for our client. This role can be worked on a hybrid basis but requires regular attendance at either our Winnersh (Reading), or Thatcham office. \\n \\nAbout the role: \\nWe are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical, Control and Instrumentation Engineer to join our growing Engineering capability.

The successful candidate will play a key role in our organisation, collaborating closely with clients and stakeholders. \\n \\nThe EC&I Engineer will address and resolve Electrical, Control and Instrumentation Engineering issues within a multi-discipline project using their technical capabilities and engineering judgement, applying their skills, or generating innovative solutions as appropriate whilst simultaneously interacting and collaborating with our engineers from other disciplines and offices to deliver projects on time and to budget. \\n \\nYour responsibilities will include: \\nReviewing Client EC&I design packs and compiling job packs to meet both schedule and handover strategy.

\\nWorking with the quality department, produce ITPs and check sheets/cable cards for EC&I installation. \\nProducing safe systems of work (i.e., RAMS, PPE Assessments, Manual Handling Assessments, etc.) for the EC&I install activities. \\nAssisting in compiling quality and technical data upon construction completion to produce commissioning handover packs.

\\n \\nEssential Qualifications & Experience: \\nHND qualified Electrical and Electronic Engineering or demonstrable equivalent underpinning knowledge and understanding and discipline relevant professional experience. \\nExperience in an electrical, control or instrumentation design. \\nGood all-round technical design experience using British and international standards and Eurocodes.

\\nAbility to work autonomously and manage your own time and workload to deliver against agreed milestones. \\nAbility to work effectively as a team member within a multidisciplinary team liaising directly with team members and clients. \\nGood verbal and written communication and technical writing skills.

\\nUK National (none dual citizen). \\nSC Cleared
