We are looking for a Management Accountant to join our Finance team at TKMS ATLAS UK. Reporting to the Senior Management Accountant, this role plays an integral part in providing financial support and guidance across the business while helping to develop tools and processes that predict, report and maintain project and financial performance. The Finance team supports all areas of the organisation, delivering accurate financial reporting, insightful analysis and effective financial controls that enable informed decision-making. This role contributes directly to TKMS ATLAS UK's continued growth and operational excellence by ensuring robust financial management and supporting strategic business objectives.
What you'll be doing
- As a Management Accountant, you will work closely with colleagues across the business to provide financial reporting, analysis and support.
- You'll help maintain accurate financial records, deliver meaningful performance insights and contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and posting accruals and prepayments.
- Supporting the creation and maintenance of internal, R&D and investment projects, ensuring correct settlement rules and budget compliance.
- Producing detailed utilisation analysis by division, including labour recovery, non-recoverable time, bidding activities, R&D and internal projects.
- Supporting benchmarking and labour demand analysis activities.
- Preparing monthly phased Trial Balance, Profit & Loss reports and KPI reporting.
- Supporting monthly group reporting and Senior Management Team/Board reporting.
- Producing monthly cost centre reviews and Budget vs Actual vs Forecast reporting.
- Processing non-project invoicing and journal entries.
- Allocating cash receipts.
- Processing and checking employee expenses.
- Completing balance sheet reconciliations.
- Providing ad hoc financial analysis and supporting wider Finance team activities as required.

- An interest in using AI and emerging technologies to improve efficiency, with experience of using AI to automate data preparation considered beneficial.
